### uglywolf A few patches, some new mods and the compression that allows the game to take like 12 GB less when installed doesn't compress well in 7zip, so the initial download size is a tad bit larger. Worthwhile tradeoff imo ;-)

My game freezes whenever I try to talk/interact with girls. Game keeps going and characters around me continue walking and doing stuff but I can't do anything, my character just freezes. I installed R2 and did nothing out of ordinary, just changed resolution to 1080p. Game seems pretty normal and everything else works just fine, it's just this problem.

### Luke You're the second report I have gotten about that, so you're not alone, but I can't seem to recreate it, been running around talking to everyone all over for ages here now... Maybe due to the latest illusion update? try to extract https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/840176841146630204/904018741921214474/BetterRepack_R2_Rollback_patch_level.7z to your game and see if that fixes it.

@screwthisnoise I managed to figure out the problem with Rau's help. I appear to be missing the files that the conversation would be loaded from: [Warning:XUnity.ResourceRedirector] Tried to load non-existing asset bundle: C:/[ScrewThisNoise] Koikatsu Sunshine BetterRepack R2/KoikatsuSunshine_Data/../abdata/communication/info_50.unity3d However I can't seem to fix this. I've tried redownloading your torrent and also from gdrive, but the file mentioned above simply does not seem to exist on the .7z file. I'm not sure why it's not downloading for me. I've checked several times and my files doesnt seem to be corrupt. ---EDIT--- Your hotfixed fixed it! was about to post the issue about the talking, glad it was fixed. screw, it's no biggie since it does fix itself later. it's just that clothing, even though it's removed just stays layered on. no idea why, other versions didnt do it.

### arcella I hear rumors that it's being worked on, so will probably come eventually... then again, pretty much all mods for KK is in some phase of porting from the looks of things. Do stay tuned for more mods coming over. I view the game as decently playable for a new user now with the R2 release, that is still a far cry from a complete transition, though we're at a point equalling about 1 year after release for KK back in the day, so things are moving fast. And for the rest of you, yes, do apply the hotfix if you're encountering problems. I have gotten reports about the following problems and am looking into it, with little luck (good god, reproducing these is proving to be a hassle and a half): - Game freezing on orgasm for Trendy. Game complaining about missing sound file. Sound file confirmed to be in the pack, so looking into why it's failing to play it for some users. - Game freezing randomly during H. Game complaining about missing subtitles. All subtitles seem to be present as they should, so no idea what's up with that. - Clothing related problems. Can't for the life of me recreate it, and I'm unsure about the exact behaviour from the reports I've received. The clothing related problem seems to be fixed by some by simply running the updater (R1.3 to R2) for some, and re-extracting for some, and neither help for some... if anything that is even more confusing, and is likely the reason I can't recreate the problem after testing on several computers... Random errors are so much fun \o/ If I manage to lock in on the errors I'll probably issue a hotfix, or just simply update the pack sooner than planned :-)

I too had the issue of the game freezing when initiating dialogue. Hotfix fixed it. It wasn't a full application freeze, though. Game still opened the F1 menu and Esc still brought up the exit dialogue. I could still return to title via F1.

### OtakuGamer11 yeah, that, that is what is complicating the whole troubleshooting progress... it's so random, and some users manage to fix it by just installing the hotfix, some by installing the update again and some by just extracting the full game... sounds like something goes wrong somewhere during installation, but it's all so random that I'm having an unusual amount of problems locking in on what exactly is going on. Thank you for your input. Any information is useful when troubleshooting gets this annoying >.<

For people who want a 100% save you can just open the cheat menu in game, there is an option to unlock all positions.

Hi, thanks for another repack. I think this might just be my anti-virus (Avast) being a sissy, but I felt as though I should report it either way. When in Chara Maker, Avast stops the game and moves the .exe file to quarantine when I load certain chars downloaded from illusioncards.booru, with the threat name of "IDP.Generic". Never really had this problem before on the original KK, and I got literally thousands of chars from there. As I said, might just specific to my system but letting you know either way. Thanks for your time.

@STN - Hey man! Quick question for you! Do you happen to have any plans to release a pack for COM3D2? I managed to find a copy elsewhere and get it running to some degree after much trial and error and a slew of frustration, but its kind of a nightmare to navigate in VR, as the controls aren't exactly intuitive. I have no idea how to move around so the FOV is locked, and toggling through the settings is a chore. And somehow my folder is 120 freaking GB! Most everything is locked / greyed out, so I can't access much at all. I also have no idea how to add characters. I see they're available on Bepis and they seem to save as "presets" rather than character cards. I found the folder and added the presets, but nothing shows up in-game. This game seems to have so much potential. A pack with a brief tutorial of sorts would be wonderful if you could swing it! :) Great work with everything else thus far, as ever.

### nincow You'd be surprised how many times I get asked that question... unfortunately... no. I were working on it like 1-2 years back, but the community didn't seem to take kindly to the news of a repack incoming, so... scrapped it, and at this point, taking on a repack of that magnitude is....... a lot I haven't COMPLETELY closed the door on the idea, but at best it's low priority... we'll see where we end up in the future though
